Cafe 422 in Warren

Absolutely love eating here when we come to town! The peppers & oil is sooo tasty! You have to try it! Their 3 course meals are fantastic too. And a great value for your money. Great service always. So friendly. Would love a franchise down south!

Very nice and fancy, friendly staff. They have an outside sitting area, a banquet area, and a few sitting areas to wait for your order. I had the wedding soup and it was really good! Awesome flavor, strings of chicken, small balls of sausage, greens and tiny balls of pasta. I was impressed enough to want to go back and try more. Plenty of parking as well.

Calamari was wonderful and of course the hamburgers are outstanding. Always a good time a lot of nice people

I tried to buy gift cards. Planned on purchasing $100 worth. Wanted to take advantage of their holiday special. Was told it would be a few minutes. Stood at the bar for about 20 minutes while they waited on everyone else. Even tho some came up after I was standing there. So then I left. Without the cards. I realize they were busy but that was ridiculous. Not sure why the hostess could not have rung me out at the bar since they were busy. I dont mind waiting my turn but when the bartenders just kept filling drink orders that came along after I said what I wanted to buy was disappointing.

A very comfortable atmosphere....The happy hour menu from 4 till 6:30 has always been an attraction for me when I'm in Warren.

We got take out from here and asked if they were able to do creme brulee to go. They said no problem. This monstrosity is not what was expected. We would have been perfectly fine with them saying they could only serve it in house, and would have ordered something else. The presentation was horrendous and the flavor wasn't much better. The dinners we ordered were mediocre at best and half of it was cold, even though we arrived a few minutes before they said it would be ready. I'll pass on this restaurant in the future.

First date during covid. Food was yummy but company was wonderful

Bad customer service, if you order take out check you order before you leave, because once you get home it's too late unless you want to turn around and bring the order back, which is what I was told I should have done after complaining, I won't be going back.

Just wanted you all to know, we ordered your Easter dinner for 4-6 people, it was spectacular and we all truly enjoyed every bit of it, we even had leftovers...So a big THANK YOU for all you have done during these difficult times for all of us...Love you all and Thanks again ❤❤❤❤

best Italian i have eaten food in 2 years

The food is delicious and the staff and management are very welcoming.

No one in our party was impressed with anything we ordered. I got the chicken parm and spaghetti— definitely not feeling their “famous” sauce. My daughter ordered penne a la vodka and she didn’t care for it. We also had a pizza which was in what appeared to be store bought flatbread. I ordered a piece of coconut cream pie and it was a square of what seemed to be cheesecake with coconut mixed in— definitely not what I expected and it was relatively tasteless. $70 later all of us said we probably won’t go back but if we do we will get steak.

This place holds many great memories through the years. Our recent visit was to celebrate Birthdays. We all enjoyed our meals, the twin tails were delicious with the riasted veggies! ! The service was fantastic, friendly and on point. They also have a great happy hour, if you want some tasty appetizers and a few drinks. I highly recommend it.

Food was good. Service was lacking for a better word. Forgot drinks,had to ask repeatedly..dropped off food and disappeared until the check.

Clean Restaurant, Good Food, Decent Location.We had delayed service and was overlooked a few times. I assume because we were of color. We didn't get inviting looks upon coming in. My friend went often.She stated; I liked the food and the ambience so I don't care about the looks and the attitudes!!!Well said👏👏 I thought 🤔!No shade, nice place to try.

Wednesday is Pasta Night! For 10 dollars you get to choose meat, sauce and pasta type. Marinara sauce was a little too spicy for my husband and I got Shrimp (2) Alfredo. We haven't been here for over 40 years. Looks updated inside, with historical pics in the hallway that states 75 years here in Warren/Niles area. Would have given 5 stars but it was just ordinary. My husband didn't get indigestion--that is good!

Absolutely delicious and classy, pricey. a very good date place, to make a girl feel special tho♥️. I recommend hot peppers and oil as an app, clam linguini with a side ceaser salad. Or a full ceaser salad with almond crusted chicken on the side. Top it all off with a lemon cello cake with raspberry sauce 🤤😍 so AMAZING me and my fiance might have it as our wedding cake.

Well after the owner/manager was on the phone while we stood there to be seated for 10 minutes someone else finally seated us... once we were seated we waited 15 minutes for our server to come over... was there an hour before we received our food... I got the pork chops they had no flavor and were so tough I couldn’t chew them.... my husband had the perogies he said they were good... thank god we had a gift card because we won’t be back very disappointing ☹️

Small portions, for what you get, pricey, but excellent waiter service. Will not return. Dining is old booth, dark atmosphere. Needs a fresh update, bring in the light, Owner probably on a tight cheap budget. Senior citizens love it. When they pass, so will Cafe 422.

What a horrible experience. Veal parmigiana had raw pasta. NY strip had ZERO flavor. Pork chops were completely burnt. Hummus was bland. Mozzarella marinara was also burnt. Garlic mashed potatoes were ice cold. We complained to the owner, and they fixed a few of the things wrong, but we received nothing off the bill and no apologies. We most definitely not return.

Every one is nice and very considerate! Always get service even at closing time!

Delicious, authentic Italian food (with a couple Middle Eastern dishes thrown in)! I've never had a bad meal here. I most recently had the risotto with peas, and it was incredible. Also, they make their own peppers, and I highly recommend purchasing a jar to bring home.
